In the second session of today’s Content Creation Conference, Louis Levanti – a US-based content creator, then joined Keith Demicoli on stage to share his journey to building a full-time career and becoming renowned for his pop culture, lifestyle and informational content around the world. Today, Louis has a combined reach of approximately 2.5 million across all channels.

Louis discussed how he formerly worked with Paramount in the US, and began learning the ins and outs of social media, content creation and helped to build some of the biggest brands like MTV. He began creating his own content during the pandemic with light-hearted videos which went viral, before expanding to include more lifestyle and informative content alongside his comedy.

He shared insights into how to find a unique voice online and create captivating content – with one of his key tips being to talk to the camera like a friend and keep it personable. He also discussed how building confidence is important and how film and TV companies are now tapping into creators for advertising, which is shifting the entertainment marketing landscape.

During the session, Louis went on to discuss how he switches off from content creation and how performance stats are no longer the definition of success – it’s about creating good content and entertaining your audiences. Louis also addressed how to balance the nuances of your audiences on different platforms and the importance of authenticity across all content.

Josh left audiences with his main piece of advice for budding content creators – to just start posting content, don’t compare yourselves to others and have fun with what you are doing.
